Welcome to the Black Diamond Ranch. We are currently raising Syfan Bloodline Black Spanish Goats, South African Boer Goats, Spanish Boer Crosses, and AKC registered Great Pyrenees Livestock Guard Dogs (LGD).
Our goal is to produce the best meat goat based on genetics. Our Spanish goats are solid black and have great structure. Our Boer goats come from ennobled bloodlines that focus on producing heavily muscled goats with great structure. Our Spanish Boer Crossed combine the best of the two breeds, the Syfan Spanish, and South African Boer, to produce a heavily muscled goat that is disease resistant and hardy.
We currently have two Pyrenees LGDs, Preacher and PB (Preacher's Bride). They were introduced to our goats when they were only pups, and have been with the herd since. For current pricing on our Spanish goats contact us through email, or phone.
~Ranch History~
The Black Diamond Ranch was established in 2006. Our first goats were given to our children by a neighboring ranch, and these bottle babies started the love of goats. Our daughters decided to show goats for FFA, and during this time we decided to shift operations from cattle to goats. After extensive research we purchased Syfan Spanish Goats from Three Mill Ranch, while also raising show quality Boer Goats. Future operations plan to expand the Spanish and Boer Goat herds, maintaining pure bloodlines, while also experimenting with Spanish Boer crosses in hopes of producing a disease resistant, hardy, heavily muscled goat. The Spanish Boer crosses will be documented and maintained by Dakota Dahlke as she plans to attend Texas A&M University Fall 2013.
